Find, ask, book
Make a free account, look through Texas authors, and message the ones you like. Book a visit, buy signed books, or post a request and let authors send you ideas. Pay by card or purchase order.
How it works
Three groups, one goal: more Texas authors in front of Valley kids
Show up, share stories
Create a storefront with your books and visits, connect your bank through Stripe, and answer campus requests. Your share arrives after each visit or delivery is confirmed.
Looks after everyone
We approve each author before they go public, step in if a problem is reported, and keep each payment safe until the visit or delivery is confirmed (or 14 days pass with no problem reported).
What happens when a campus books a visit
1. Say helloThe campus messages an author or sends a visit request with the date, place and number of students.
2. Author says yesThe author accepts — adding travel to the fee if needed — or suggests another day.
3. Date is locked inThe campus pays by card or sends a purchase order. We hold the money; nobody is paid yet.
4. Author dayAfter the visit, the campus confirms it went well and the author's share is sent.
Plans change? With 7 or more days' notice, the campus gets its money back. If the author has to cancel, the campus is always refunded in full. More questions and answers
